British Police Symphony Orchestra Charity Concert

For one night only, the British Police Symphony Orchestra is coming to the North of England for a special performance in support of Bradford Hospitals Charity’s ‘Home from Home’ Appeal.
Each year, around 500 babies receive specialist or intensive care on Bradford’s neonatal unit. To help families stay close during some of the most challenging times of their lives, we’re raising the money needed to build a dedicated ‘Home from Home’ next to the unit.
This event – inspired by the love for baby Alfred Clay, who spent 144 days in neonatal care – will raise funds to give families a place to rest, cook a meal, do their washing and take a much-needed breath.

Under the baton of Dr Richard Jenkinson, this spectacular concert will transport audiences through a spellbinding programme inspired by legendary tales and timeless stories loved across the UK and beyond.
Your compere for the evening, Danny Mizon, will guide audiences on a magical flying-carpet journey through mystical realms. Along the way we’ll soar past marvellous mages, encounter curious creatures, and even visit one very well-known swamp as these incredible stories are brought vividly to life through music.
Expect drama, wonder, humour and breathtaking orchestral moments in a concert designed to delight audiences of all ages.
The evening culminates in a spectacular Proms-style finale, complete with a dazzling indoor firework extravaganza — the perfect ending to a night of musical magic.
As a former serving police officer himself, Danny is proud to introduce this remarkable orchestra of volunteers drawn from across the United Kingdom. The musicians of the British Police Symphony Orchestra are serving or retired police officers, police staff and members of the extended police family, united by their passion for music and community.
