Patrons

I

In 2019 the orchestra celebrated 30 years of wonderful music making and through your patronage, we hope to be able to continue for another 30!

Patronage is not just a one-way street.
We would like to offer our patrons closer involvement in the orchestra and a number of privileges throughout the year. Below are the different ways you can become a patron, please contact Helen on helen@bpso.net for more information:

Young Players' Patron

Are you a relative or friend of a young player who would enjoy spending some time playing with the BPSO?

This opportunity provides a fantastic understanding of how an orchestra works and the thrill of creating great music. This would make a great gift for any young musician and through your patronage, you would enable us to develop future projects and work with even more young people.

* Conditions apply at BPSO discretion. Some rehearsal venues may not be appropriate and a parent/guardian must attend to comply with safeguarding policies.

Life Patron

Have you been a long-term supporter of the BPSO, perhaps as a Trustee, Chairman, regular concertgoer or Sponsor?

Perhaps you have been a member of the BPSO since the Police National Orchestra (PNO) days, or are a family member or friend of a player.

Are you keen to support the BPSO in its charitable and educational work and to help secure the future of the orchestra for the next 30 years?

As a Life Patron for a one-off donation of £1,000, you will receive all patron privileges for the life of the orchestra.

Annual Privileges

  • An invitation to the VIP reception at the Christmas Birmingham Symphony Hall concert.
50% discount on tickets to concerts organized by the BPSO, including Symphony Hall (2 tickets per concert).
